Could we win this? We really sound as though we could. Not confident that Flo is anything like the standard required here, Butters is doing well, but it depends on energy and fitness with him. McShane quiet, but doing what is needed. The two rottweilers are doing well (ElAbd and Lynch) - getting stuck in, they just have to be careful that they don't give something away with tiredness. Mayo scored, makes him a god again, he is getting up and down the pitch well. Chippy fairly quiet. Frutos and Carole and hammering the Southampton defence, running at them. Robinson set Mayo up, but is not quite "there". Trolley is getting stuck in, has the beating in the air of the defenders, needs to stay in the centre rather than try and take it all the way.

Would like to see Robinson off, Gatting on.

I guess it's possible. We got back into quickly which I think was very important it didn't give time for our heads to drop or them to get too much confidence.

They also have a lot of players missing and have lost 4 in a row so I guess if we can keep going at them and don't do anything stupid we might be able to sneak a win. Unlikely though. I'd be delighted with a point.

Likes the 1-1, thought that we were getting annihilated after 15 minutes, but more open now. Keeps mentioning the Southampton supporters and how good they are! 16 fantastic years, privileged to play here, great players, management, etc. Going off him now.

james does have the odd good game, Ive never seen this Flo chapie but he is not filling me with confidence - get the ball to Mayo!

Southampton have come out with pressure by the sound of it. Dangerous period for us. Ormerod seems to have changed Southampton's approach. Burley "looks happier" according to the commentators.

We still have some good attacking momentum though - Frutos and Carole still pushing up.
