For me nothing can surpass the seminal live LP recorded at the Withyham Astoria in 1982 - Alchemy Live by Will Conrad and The Westerners.

The vinyl captures the excitement and expectation of one of the County's tightest Country and Western combo's in the height of their fame.
In my opinion this recording probably just pips the 'How's Yer Onions?' live offering by Flintlock, recorded at Crowborough Football Club circa 1990.

1. Led Zep - How the West was Won
2. Underworld - Everything Everything.
3. Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense

All really very good.

Weld by Neil Young and Crazy Horse is good, but the fattest man in the South East is correct in his assertion that Will Conrad and the Westerners seminal recording from Withyham is by far and away the best.

Good call! "Hey! I want you to welcome some very old friends of ours ...."

Pity about the version of Freebird though. It's not the same without the organ intro.
