Wasn't there an incident at a fans meeting many years ago involving BG, possibly at Southwick FC
I am pretty sure it was at the Concorde. He managed to make a prize plum on himself and was basically laughed out of the meeting...If my memory also serves me correctly, Dick Knight called him a **** as well.
As for recently on here he just comes across as someone where life is clearly passing him by and the modern age is all to much for him...Plus he thinks he is above the law!
I can see why people find him irritating and is ripe for piss-taking as he judge of players and therefore the ones he recommends on here are mostly shocking...

My issue with BG is that he purports to be a footie scout, knowledgeable and always in the know about all things football, especially at the Albion.
So when he predicts the future with such confidence and authority, which subsequently turn out completely wrong, just makes me cringe for the fella as he makes himself look stupid.
Yes, he's harmless enough, but he says things that to the unwise can be considered gospel - so I have him in the "not to be believed / bullshitter" category when reading any of his comments.
The only user I ever put on ignore was that 1066 tw@t 5-6-7 years back ... proper numpty was he
