SHOREHAM BY SEA
A very sad day for not only the Lisher family but the Albion family in general, Brian (BG) lived and breathed the Albion and at 76 years of age had actively done so for over 70 of those.

Testing the NSC waters, so to speak, should the club put Brian’s photo up on the screen on 76 minutes on Saturday? (Apologies if fixtures)

Personally I think they should.

I think so too!..I’d raise my cap less water bottle to toast him

72,324 posts.

Just let that sink in for a moment...

SEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FOUR POSTS.

Agree or disagree with him, his dedication to NSC was never in question.

A true NSC legend has passed & we're so much the poorer for it.

Farewell BG...you'll never be forgotten on here.

A tear filled my eye when reading this. Maybe the Albion should sign a left-back in the summer in his honour (even if we don't need one) RIP fella.

Such sad news. Thoughts with Brians family Bens Grandad will be missed around here despite "controversial"(wind up ;) ) posts

I rarely duelled with BG and always loved his posts. Behind the scenes we used to chat about his parking complaints which he loved taking up with councils and private companies ! Sad day but I suspect he'll be having strong words with God about where clouds can be parked ! RIP Brian.

A very sad day for the whole NSC community. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. He was a cracking wind-up merchant! RIP.

Very sorry to hear this.

Certainly a character and not afraid to speak his views. I may have disagreed with some of them but no question he could hold his own. RIP

Truly sad news for NSC, and more importantly for his family and friends.
Please take this in the most positive way - I always thought of him as Captain Chaos.
His questions, staements and replies would always, in my mind, cause a ripple of chaos for those around him (especially here on NSC).
Did he really just say that? Does he really think that? Can it be true, is this a wind-up?
An exasperating, lovely guy is the other impression I formed of him.
He will be truly missed by all...
