Seeing as I do it quite alot at away games, I don't/can't have a problem with it at the amex - provided fans are being respectful. I end up in the big wall thing at Spurs every year as i have a load of mates who usually have a spare ticket. Was very hard the last two games - both for opposing reasons.

You obviously aren't a proper supporter who attends games because if you were you would know that nobody can celebrate a goal these days because of VAR, which has taken all the excitement out of football and completely ruined it. The bastards.
Having been in the Millwall family enclosure when Forster scored the winner for us some years ago, I can highly recommend tutting.Which is as it should be. We’ve all (well, nearly all!) been in the home end as an away fan during our football watching days. A bit of respect, sit on your hands when we score, and make that broad grin when we win look like a grimace. There, job done!
Oddly, I sat in the away end for a Newcastle match at the Amex once. I’d wanted to experience the match from an away perspective and my Geordie pal had got me a ticket. It was an FA Cup victory when they were EPL and we were Championship.
I pretended to be annoyed when we scored but they’d already clocked me long before. A group of them were trying to have a conversation with me, to our my southern accent I imagine. In my best Geordie accent, I said something like ‘alreet son’, and they just looked at me, laughed and shook their heads, I may have even got a cheeky little pat on the back

Don’t really see the problem with this: much better than the other way around - THAT would be bad parenting.
I can't get that pissed off with away fans in the home end regardless of what they wear - as long as they're not complete gobshites. That's the line for me, and I think it's a reasonable one.
The only caveat to this is that they shouldn't be blatantly depriving home fans tickets, but if there are enough tix to go round then I don't mind. And the exception to that is that if you're an adult away fan escorting young home fans, then that's actually fair enough too.

i do 4/5 away games. Always in home end with business contacts who are ST holders and just pass me on friends ticket. Unable to now be able to return the favour. I therefore have no objection to sitting near away supporters at the Amex which I often have and always decent people . However asking for trouble if more than a couple and certainly should not be allowed in with Opposition shirt.

Depends on the turnstiles then. I quite often work before games as part of the Here to Help team and in the west they tend to turn away obvious away fans.

Sitting in the home end is fine by me just - like everything in life - don't be a bellend. I've sat on my hands at many a ground as we all know that's the price you pay ( and you don't get 15 loyalty points either). I've no sympathy for the celebratory types though. They deserve a good ribbing at the very least.

I’ve done this before because it was the only way to see the match, however it’s a shit way to watch the Albion. Now with streams meaning you can watch any game live I’m far less inclined.
