Really hate the tired 'this is a must win' clichė.

This game is a must win.

and If we lose, it won't be a disaster.

I reckon we'll still stay up.

We're 4 points above relegation. It's definitely not a must win. We can afford to lose and still be in a safe position.

Newmarket.
We just need to get Alzate to stick close to Grealish wherever he goes and disrupt anything he tries to do for the whole 96 minutes.

Stop Grealish and you stop Villa, it's simple.

We need someone like Greer back to give him an early reducer. Or just cut that ****ing hair of his.

To be fair if they watched any of our game yesterday they're probably saying the same about us - stop Mooy and you stop Brighton. Nothing about cutting his hair though

Not simply about points though, is it?

They obviously help, but morale must be pretty poor right now after a relatively strong side got turned over by MASSIVE and a similarly lacklustre (and that's being polite) performance yesterday.

Us and 'Muff are on a bit of a downward spiral right now, time to get off.

We have 2 points less than the same stage last season. We need 3 points. After early promise bar Arsenal away we have been poor for quite a while now including a few abject performances and capitulation in both cup competitions

We peaked with Spurs at home and have been very inconsistant since then and 5 points from the last 10 away games, which to me is not really much of an improvement on last season with over half the season gone. Potter is doing ok, no more

which is his remit, it will take a season or two for him to recruit the actual players he wants

And I’d hardly describe the cup exits as capitulation. Different context for each game, but a better collective description might be a lack of interest in both cup competitions this year.

what's the difference ?

"Reducer". Not heard that one for a while. Love it. :clap2:

"Just get out there and clatter the little ponce early doors"
