How much are you prepared to pay to watch the Albion in the prem if prices start rising to these levels
Maybe more would stay till the 95th minute at those prices :)

This is why I am not all that fussed if we go up or not...championship football is ok for me

Thing is, they haven't really. It's just that for the big clubs the habit now is of going once or twice a season rather than every week. Football is like the theatre or a nice restaurant - something to do on occasion rather than a regular weekly ritual. Which is a shame, because it fucks it up for those of us who do want to go every week since the prices of the top clubs filter down in order to allow other clubs to even vaguely compete. There will be plenty of people willing to pay a lot more for tickets on an occasional basis so I don't see the bubble bursting any time soon.

Agreed , I go home and away at the moment and I love it - but even now I can only just afford to do so, if we got to the Premiership I doubt I'd be able to afford that many games at all - either home or away!

If they sell out charging those prices then there can be no complaint. I question the people paying those prices, even if its affordable given what else you can buy for that sort of money. Individual choice however. I wouldn't pay it, not because I cant, but because I would rather spend the cash on other things but if others will than fair enough. Just like I wouldn't ever buy a season ticket at the albion again, not because of the cost as prices seem OK at the Albion but just because I dont want to spend every other weekend doing the same thing. That is just my decision about what to do with with my time and my cash. I'm very very pleased however that there are 23000 odd people who do want a season ticket down at the albion however!

High prices to pay wages of £7.5million for the manager and over £2million for the chief exec.

According to this research carried out last year if you bought an away ticket for every Premership game last year it would have cost you not much short of 1K (£998).

If you add on travel, food & drink, hotel and programmes we may need some deep pockets to follow the Albion if we go up. I would target games like the Emirates that are stadiums I have not been too, however I reckon 6-7 games could cost in excess of £500 the way I spend.
