What is that the same game around 4 other players removed the black arm band ?

This argument has been done to death, but for the record..

Knight i believe missed a good chance. He then ripped his armband off and threw it on the floor. The North Stand supporters (myself included) shouted at him to pick it up. Naturally, he told them to "f*** off".

Did those other 4 players tell their fans to "f*** off"? And is anyone questioning their attitude and personality?:glare:

No because some posters have double standards, no a word about Jarrett leaving on friday.

Exactly. A bit much criticising someone for not being comfortable dealing with people ... plently of the players who were at the Sponsors' Dinner were quiet, and unsuprisingly looked liked they hated being there - I don't really blame them either.

The players like Jonah, who is a natural at making conversation, were well in the minority.

I'll disagree with that. I would say the only two who looked uncomfortable and weren't chatty were Dan Harding (unsurprisingly) and Leon.

both younger players in the squad.

Like I said this is getting tedious now.

If he has been released I hope mcghee has more money to spend after paying up his contract.

Strange, I was directly in front of him then and never saw that. Not that he'd be very much in the wrong - some of the abuse he gets from the Withdean crowd is disgusting ... and we seem to reckon we're the best fans in the country!

I was sitting in Q block....directly in front of him ???

Oh well, there was a big thread about it at the time, from memory i think he apologised and that was that.

Didn't know Jarrett left aswell  He is pushing it because he is hardly in the same league as Leon!

Being young has nothing to do with it. Jakey and Adam Virgo were very friendly.

Must admit i didn't know about Jarrett. But this would be his first offence.

Regarding "double standards" however, Jarrett is quite high in my opinion, after being restrained (by Leon and 2 others) from attacking a Palace fan who abused them after the 1-0 win in October:lolol:

Harding and Knight abused by the crowd

Virgo and Robinson cheered no matter what they do.

do you think there could be a connection there?

All a matter of your take on it, of course. But I'd add a number of players to that list.

To be fair, I think he has difficulty with fans. He was very quiet at the Race Day and the kit sponsors dinner.
Not all players are relaxed with strange people coming up to them and demanding autographs.

Unfortunately it goes with the territory and, like it or not, players have an obligation to do what they can to keep the fans happy, especially at 'organised' events

I spoke to Leon after the Sheff Utd game, at the old Q8 garage nr Waterhall. I said "Well played tonight Leon, and bad luck". He barely acknowledged me. Fair enough he had just lost, but.....
