I agree he is popular with the fans - they are not going to sack him for the sake of it or a for run of mediocre performances but they would certainly consider it by all accounts if they can sell the idea to the fans it would be an upgrade and an opportunity for Forest to become a top half of the table club - Do you think Cooper can get them there and keep them there? Marinakis saying it was hard to get a replacement at the end of last season wasn’t exactly a ringing endorsement…and yeah, he looked like he was very frustrated and not enjoying their performance on Saturday

I think Steve Cooper has the ability, sure. He's probably got more nous than many in the lower half, but all this non stop chatter about another manager is not helpful or a solid foundation on which he will be able to build something. That said, you may well be right and Mariankas getting trigger happy?, in which case it would make more sense to fire him before January, if he's going to.
Theyre at home to Everton on Saturday. Lose that and he may feel he has enough to pull the trigger?

Doesn’t he realise that the 2 game suspension is already in place, it is just that red cards don’t carry over in to UEFA matches?
I certainly wasn’t comfortable for that 23 minutes!

Even RDZ stated he thought Taylor was supposed to be ‘the best’, so if they all do what Taylor did, obviously red cards will go up for a bit, but in time player dissent would surely improve?
Wouldn’t it be good if player dissent improved in the long term and players/managers (looking at you Sean Dyche) got out of refs’ and officials’ faces.
Unfortunately, imo, the current frustration with officials and VAR. stems from the utter inconsistency that occurs game to game at the moment.
