I would vote for Richard Lindfield. Radio Sussex drive time in the evening hasnt been anywhere near as good since he left. Has anybody considered a female announcer at the Amex.

Why don't they interview for the position? I am sure there are some excellent speakers out there that know the club inside out.

Anyone that incorporates the name lad in their name should be put in the rejection pile straight away.

The guy from the X Factor!

Now that would be quality.

'For Brighton, it's CAAASSSS-PPAARRRR, INNNN-IIIGGOO, GOOORRR-DDOONNN, ADDAAMMM, and MAARR-RCUUSS...'

'TIIIMMMEEE To FAAACCEEE THE MUUUSSSIICCC'

'It's DEEAADDLOOCCKK'.

Will he do that nervous laugh at all his own jokes, like he does whenever he gets near a player on the podcasts?

Is it a cue to laugh or letting us know it is a joke?

NB I've never seen/heard him compere and I can't use radio/podcasts, so have no idea whether he is funny or not.

Is that the guy that sounds a bit camp / effeminate ?

He did the announcing at Withdean a couple of seasons ago and I thought that he was very good. He also did the evening drive time show on BBC Radio Sussex/Surrey but was replaced in a presenter shake up when Tommy Boyd also went but not sure what her is doing now.
