The argument that we have no choice but to be a selling club sounds logical in the first instance. However we have to look deeper. If we sell players like Revell, Cox etc will we be able to compete. If we can't compete attendences and income will go down and the money we get for the player will be eaten up. Secondly there is no guarantee we can replace the player.
Considering that we have such a threadbare squad I think we need to hold on to our players. Lynch can go, maybe, because we have a good defence but we can't afford, financially or otherwise, to lose Cox, Revell or Robinson and it would be financially short-sighted to do so.
BTW I can't remember when Brighton last played badly and won... we seem to always have to play well to win. A good sign, perhaps that luck is swinging?
