I think 30k and a bit is more than enough for us.
It is not a question of problem, it is a question of fulfilling potential and ambition.
I thought that too but i guess people are settled in now where they sit and who with. I simply don't want to lose my seat and i guess many others feel the same way.100 percent this
A few other clubs mentioned it too.
Great news I thought a few more might have drop out and would take a chance of getting a seat/seats on general sale now due to the larger capacity this season.
I suppose the pricing structure on each game now just makes sense to get a season ticket.
We've struggled to sell out this season with less than 30k, the draw of a tiny handful of games a season in the premier league is hardly a reason to then have 10k empty seats when Stoke/Fulham/Wigan/Everton/Villa/Newcastle/Norwich/SCC/Sunderland/Swansea/West Brom/West Ham come to play
If we get promoted and stay up I can see an increase to 33k and then 35k being seriously looked at.
It would be simply be to expensive and pointless raising the capacity by a few thousand for the amount of work involved. If we get promoted and stay up I can see an increase to 33k and then 35k being seriously looked at.

By Arsenal this year and Newcastle last, we already knew we were selling tickets well. That's a bit late to help with the stadium design. One that springs to mind is one about transport where I made precisely this point and the NSC perceived wisdom was that I and a couple of others were deluded. I think I made the same point in the threads about Arsenal at home this year and the Newcastle cup game of last year.

Where would you put the seats?
There may be space to extend the north stand upwards.Where would you put the seats?
That's 5 teams, and only 3 would be in our division at a time, so not enough reason on its own.I did say at the time that Brighton playing Arsenal, Man U, Spurs and even Palace and Pompey would need more than 30,000.
I think we all wanted him to stay, but when we found we were getting CMS pretty much everyone here thought we had the better player. Obviously both would have been nice, but there are budget limits.Incidentally I also said at the time that Murray was given away that it was a bad decision.
