We will be chasing a stiff total here... hopefully Trott will hit out or get out, rather than just piling the pressure on the middle order by fannying around as usual.

It's so nice of England to play NZ into form leading up to the Champions Trophy, we really are still the gentlemen of cricket!

Dernbach 0/87 (10 overs)
Bresnan 0/73 (10)
Woakes 0/49 (7)

Send these 3 back to their counties and say thanks for trying but no more. Dernbach the most expensive bowler in world cricket so why pick him. Woakes Better at batting than bowling, and Bresnan way out of form having been injured for months. Just hope Finn and Broad are fit for the Champions Trophy. Come on all what other fast bowlers could we choose if those two dont make it. Our own Chris Jordan?

It's not yet certain that Jordan would play for England, he's represented Barbados in the past.

Bracewell gets a wicket maiden! Trott at snail pace will not help the cause. Doesn't look good unless Root and Morgan shine.
