£29.50 thoughts?

I have heard that Arsenal fans ticket prices are £29.50 for our cup game, now don't get me wrong I'm thinking the club have missed a trick here. I know the two clubs have to agree a price for tickets but I was thinking more nearer the £36 mark would of been the price they should of agreed on. In terms of pricing for Arsenal category games it would be classed as D.

Aren't they the same price as the equivalent seats in the North Stand, ie £28 plus a booking fee. Don't think the club can charge Arsenal more for their tickets than we charge our own fans for equivalent seats.

So they have been charged the cheapest rate and that was my point, it does not matter if there in similar seats you charge the opposition the average price.

They would have still sold out at £36. Does grate a bit that they will be paying a lot less than some of our own fans, regardless of where the seat is.

This is the normal cost of seats in that area of the ground. I do not think that the club are allowed to put their prices up for one game (to the away fans only) just because of who we are playing!

We give the away supporters the "worst" seats.

They are therefore the cheapest.

What I don't understand is how all 4000 can be at the same price, as if they are selling them tickets in the last blocks of the ESL, we charge our own supporters £34 for them when sold match by match.

I guess it depends on where the segregation is, but didn't think there were 4000 £28 seats in the South end.
