I like the away. Home ruined by stick on logo.
wonder how Nike does it do they have 5 different designs and send them to the club and they chose 1 or do Nike say this is the shirt we have chosenOf course it's to do with the club - they need to get a better manufacturer (like errea) as Nike are clearly not up to it.

'Long term' deal whatever that means. When does our contract with Nike end? We need a manufacture that'll accommodate AM's logo into the fabric. This kit won't sell well I shouldn't think
Completely understand American Express insisting on the white block background upon the stripes, and as it is their logo it is their choice that the lettering is not centred. What I cannot get my head round is their directive that the block is 'off white/cream', have never noticed it was not pure white in any of their other advertising, forces Nike to use a crappy stick on panel, and it looks sxxt! Come on Amex, why?

The plain white back wil look terrible, if last season's Newcastle shirt was anything to go by. All that bullcrap about it being inspired by the Mullery promotion team kit is embarrassing. Peter Ward wore a shirt with a striped back, the red number on a white panel. Not difficult to duplicate. I may be wrong but I think I read that no striped backs will be permitted next season. That's progress, is it?
Don't think me rude, but you're wrong. It will sell, and it will sell in the thousands.
Football fans are a largely captive audience. For a shirt to really bomb, it would have to be absolutely hideous, or have something about it that really, really pisses supporters off in droves. This one doesn't, in the main. It's not breathtaking, but nor is it on that level that people would boycott for some reason. People will buy them for their kids whatever it looks like, and those who always buy themselves one will continue to do so.
They could come up with a brilliant design one day which would be a best seller, of course. Maybe this one won't be the best seller ever, but they certainly won't struggle to shift them.
Nor do I. Will the lettering/numbering be in red do we know?
