I have to believe if he had a connection to Al Queda or ISIS he would have tried to kill more Americans in general than just some of the people who he had worked with. This Farook and his female accomplice could have shot a lot more than 27 plus. In the end his grudge against his co-workers was greater than his hatred of infidels.

That's about the size of it. There is a depressing routine to these events - CNN etc devote hours and hours of coverage to the event, all the talking heads say things need to change and then there is a candle lit vigil for the victims. It's almost as if Americans except that these almost daily events are inevitable in order to protect their precious rights under the Second Amendment

Shocking....but as per BBC reporter 'just another day in the USA'. Also from the BBC :

US President Barack Obama said in response to the shooting: "One thing we do know is that we have a pattern of mass shootings in this country that has no parallel anywhere in the world.

"There are some steps that we could take, not to eliminate all incidents, but to make sure they happen less frequently."

The sad thing is that Obama wants to get the gun laws changed but, despite being President, doesn't have the power.

Supposedly, according to news reports so who knows the accuracy, one of the victims, a Jew, had a 'heated debate' with the gunman a few weeks ago as to whether......Islam was a peaceful religion.

The surprise is the news of all the guns,ammo and explosives they had stored, why would anyone need all that unless they were planning something like this and something triggered them "going large " as it were before they were ready. Sad thing for me is the fact that they dropped their 6 month old child off with the grandparents before going to their deaths, who would just abandon their child ?
