Nervy edge from Bailey there, inches away from Cook at slip.

Loved the slowmo of Warner's wicket. His face as the ball goes straight to KP is brilliant.

Brilliant imagery. He knew he was out as soon as he hit it.

As the late great Tony Gregg would have said: "Got him! Anderson comes to the party!"

It's gone very quiet all of a sudden. Surprised the barmy army aren't making more noise to be honest.

Warne using the word "timid" three times to describe Australia's batting.

Tremlett grabs a hat, a drink and a sausage roll and now he's come to the party. 50th test wicket for the big man.

Looking rather good at the moment. Lets just hope we can finish them off fairly quickly.

Haddin is a gutsy character, he is capable of getting them out of a tight spot and posting a 250+ total.

Well that wasn't too bad to wake up to. Can't help wondering how the Brisbane Courier are going to report on this without mentioning (four wickets) Broad, as per their stated policy :lolol:

Just got up, excellent progress but the pitch is looking pretty docile - what on earth happened to the Aussie batting!!!

Says something when ultimately you're disappointed at 273/8 after day 1 at The Gabba. Fantastic I know, but considering we had them at 132/6.....
