The goal at the London Stadium wasn't bad either.

Glad to see him back training with the first team
Hopefully he will get some game time in the near future, but it would be unwise to expect too much from him before the end of the year.

Dare I say , I think the problem for Izzy would be fitting in the team . Losing possession too much , is a def no no under potter , even for a talented winger . He’s not that keen on wingers either !

If Izzy retains most of his pace he will be an asset in the squad.

The only player we've had who genuinely terrified Premier league defenders.

i think it would make sense to lend him for free till xmas ,with no contribution to wages even ,to a league 1 side ,where he would definitely get a lot of game time ,and chance to build his fitness

Are you doubting his pace? or do you believe there are others who equally terrify Prem defenders?.

On the rare occasions that our midfield remembered to play the ball in front of him and behind the defence, he caused absolute panic for several defences,
I remember him being particularly effective against Bournemouth and West Ham.

He was quick , but they're the shythouse end of the scale defense wise . . . . I think Trossards better, I still think AJ is as good, but unlikely we'll ever find out.

If memory serves he was usually so quick he had a fag break before anyone else caught up

a swift run and cross to a lurking Connolly/Maupay could be a useful development.
