Random tidbit. Couldn’t find a better place to post this. On Instagram, Gonzalez posted a photo of him joining Fiorentina and our own Alexis MacAllister responded with puking emojis. Obviously banter, but nice to see he’s annoyed he didn’t join us.

They haven’t got Graham Potter though and we’re a club on the up. Terrible decision from Gonzalez. Like Nunez, I hope he enjoys the scenery.

If reports are to be believed we had a bid accepted so we have the money. He just turned us down in favour of Florentina. However. Brian Owen is saying the deal is not done yet. So a glimmer of hope.

This is the one point that does seem quite odd. Manager going out because they wouldn’t sanction some transfers, yet they’re sanctioning £25m for Gonzalez as he’s walking out. You would think it’d br unsettling for a player to join a club with no manager. Let’s see what happens. But I guess...

Don’t shoot the messenger. Im looking at a ton of sources, I may have conflated one with another. A number of tweets are doing the rounds that Gonzalez chose Fiorentina over us. Argus article suggests Gattuso leaving will have an impact. Paraphrasing.

Well of course, this whole thread is about unconfirmed news. I just don’t necessarily see a connection with selling Ben White and getting Gonzalez [emoji854]

Honestly I don’t think this signing is linked to Ben White at all. We have plenty of other outgoings lined up already.
