No, there are dozens and dozens of LMA statements I have read and heard over the years, all have supported the client against the club/fa etc.... its not unusual, its not unique, its very normal.......

just look at the polls,.... 75% back the club, not Gus,.....whilst every view is encouraged, I believe the club wouldn't spend this long compiling its case, then be prepared to enter into the fray with the evidence, if they were not sure of their ground.

I can assure you that is very standard, your reaction is emotive crappage, its a union, they represent his interests, they are duty bound, and like all legal representation, will swear that black is white if it suits their clients agenda. They will be found out once the full case is reviewed...
