Without being accused of being personal and i know it's personal taste and that, but i really can't understand how anyone could think Quantum of Solace is better than Dark Knight
Conan The Barbarion- Middling, decent if you want silly action with a lead who can't speak English yet. Kind of like Willow but with violence and bigger muscles
12 Angry Men- brilliant, intelligent court room drama
the Lady Vanishes-classic Britishness in the face of adversity Hitchockness
Once Upon A Time In The West- Nastiness happens for a long time, bloody good
Alien Versus Predator 2 :Requiem
I quite liked the first one, in a mindless, entertaining way. This however is a massive pile of shit. The fact that the only thing this director appears to have done before the film is Nickelback video tells you how utterly irredeemable this film.
1.0 (and...
Cool Runnings
10/10, i supported the brave Jamaican bobsled team far more than i did our crappy athletes, anyone who disagrees is a racist. Or a member of the PC Lobby
I thought Memento was brilliant but saw it before anyone had told me much about it, i liked the fact that it constantly challenged your assumptions. I did like The Prestige a lot but i didn't think it was interesting and it seemed a little confused
I bought the Planet of the Apes movies boxset for £9 and am greatly looking forward to it.
Miami Vice- starts poorly gets a lot better but still seems a waste by a very good director
Prestige-almost a brilliant film, a bit too silly to be taken seriously though
Idiocracy- lots of good and...
In the Name of the Rose
Connery is excellent, filmed brilliantly from a tough-to-read book. The very, very ending bit annoyed me, but still very enjoyable film
Dead Man's Shoes is very different to all of his other films, very, very black comedy. All of Shane Meadows films are brilliant apart from Once Upon A Time In The Midlands, which is awful
