Halfway through the last series the three traitors recruited one more. This time, they were allowed to recruit a fourth person almost from the start. As they have refreshed some of the format in this series, they may allow another recruitment, but it was only 4.

They share, which could be why one of them could throw the other out, so they get more. After all, they are traitors.

They only won because Kieron threw Wilf under the bus at the last. They suddenly realised what was going on.
