No Sima on the bench for Stoke today so I was looking what he was up to and apparently he scored two goals for the U23s a couple of days ago:

For those of you a little bit confused about what I mean...
Surgery for him:
“Sima went back to Brighton and required groin surgery, which he had earlier this week," said Michael O'Neill
“The groin operation has an estimated return to training of four weeks. I think that’s a bit unrealistic and ambitious given that the player has had this for about...
Another option is if he goes to a calendar year league as there are exceptions for those. Would mean he gets recalled in January and then sent to Sweden/Norway/MLS/Asia/Ireland in March either for the full season or (more likely) to return in the summer.
No doubt there's awareness of these..
Dont expect any gifts however, TB is the majority shareholder but not the only one. If Brighton want these players it wont be for free.
Not going to happen in January though. CL quallification is worth £20-30m.
Hard doesnt mean impossible.
But yeah I dont think there will be a new striker in January. Maupay, Welbeck and Trossard with Connolly going on loan is my guess.
Ah! Knew I forgot someone.
That he was one of many strikers labelled as the saviour last year based on very questionable evidence. Yes, he is the second-highest scorer of all time but those wanting to recall him in January last year ignored that he was very much done on Champonship level never...
Over the last year Andone, Murray, Tau, Locadia, Sarmiento have all been seen as the great saviour by some people at one point or another. Only fair it is now Simas turn.
