It's almost like Holloway has tried to get his friend to take the job because he doesn't want palace to come and get holloway back in the role...
It seems now like lots of formers are showing an interest or open-to-it-ness; dowie, coppell, thomas. How much of it is an interest in the job and how much of it is "aw, poor palace, everyone is making fun of them, I'll act interested so people leave them alone..."
No. Can't have that. Because of his bout with ill health it would be considered poor form to make fun of palace with him in charge and we can't have that.
Millen interview on SSN (one of those driving out the training ground things). Apparently, that they aren't rushing to appoint someone is a great sign of support and faith in Millen, trusting him to keep things ticking over.
Pulis - in the article above.
Colman - said so in his press conference announcing his new deal on friday (?maybe thursday)
Millen - article linked earlier in the thread
Karanka - Probably an article in this thread somewhere, if not, here you go: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24925713...
So, to recap after Holloway walked away,
Pulis - too expensive, doesn't really want it because he doesn't think they can stay up
Colman - no particular interest in a return to the premier league
Millen - doesn't want it
Karanka - chose championship middlesbrough
Muelensteen - chose coaching...
It does seem to be taking longer than expected. Didn't they say by the weekend? Is it a major snag in negotiations with Petrescu that could see him walk away, or a run of the mill snag that will be sorted by the time I finish typing and posting this?
Ooh, hypotheticals are fun...
Suppose someone provides a service to you that you benefit from. They then come to collect the money you agreed to pay them when you employed their services, but you find due to your poor budgeting, you have no money left. You do however, have a bunch of assets you...
