There's also a sense of arrogance about it. We frequently criticise Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday fans, and others for their "we're a big club" attitude, their "we should walk this division" attitudes, and yet here on display are our own fans with similar self importance.
Too right... We're away first game of the season*, he'd be looking at an empty Amex!
(I believe it's been confirmed Pride 2013 means we have to play away that weekend)
I didn't see facts. I saw a reinterpretation of events designed to play on people's emotions.
1) he didn't publicly whore himself, he admitted interest in jobs, but I don't recall him once saying he wanted to leave Briton for any job right at that moment.
2) he didn't demand anything in that...
No, I called it emotive rubbish because its not accurate, and it's designed to get people to react emotionally because they would be defensive of our club, rather than dealing with actual facts of events.
"Not make things easy for the club" might be less extreme a way to put it, but the way US put it is no more emotive rubbish than anything else that has been said.
And I'm glad I'm not working for someone with so little idea of human nature.
The idea that he is upset over being suspended is no more emotive than comments redefining his past few years comments as touting himself for every job, no more emotive than redefining his post palace comments as a...
I have no idea what gus is accused of doing, so have no idea if he is innocent or if he believes he is or not. I find it entirely believable that even if he doesn't think he is completely innocent, that he might think what he did wasn't bad enough for all this nonsense.
It's not emotive rubbish. It is human nature when you are innocent that you don't tend to sit back all relaxed when you are suspended and instructed not to communicate with anyone while the people who employed you investigate to see if you are, as you know you are and have explained, innocent...
Since when do managers think like this? Alex ferguson came out after half time and made a big show of berating the ref in a match last season. He was never going to change the ref's mind, and is on far more than poyet, I'd wager, why didn't he control himself? Managers, like players and fans can...
But in this situation, with so many people claiming to be in the know with inscrutable, highly placed sources that seem to contradict each other, would suggest it is still something that might not be entirely factual.
Quite. It's why I believe the poyet anger is based more on the reasons I posted earlier, than for whatever it was he was suspended for allegedly doing.
:tantrum: because he doesn't play 442! :tantrum: because he wants more money to sign better players for us! :tantrum: because he dares to talk about a future after the Albion :tantrum: because his football is too slow for my taste :tantrum: because he doesn't hold the Albion in the highest...
I don't think the club would have, they'd be walking away from £2.5m buy out. But if they did, I suspect he would be Wigan boss now, since Dave Whelan wanted a manager he didn't have to buy out of an existing contract, regardless of what some brighton fans are now saying about gus, the rest of...
