All the public want is the politicians to be straight with them. Boris knows there's no chance that these excess deaths are anything other than COVID 19. The actual figure will get revised up in time and we can all make our daily decisions based on the actual risk rather than the doctored...
I think the Starmer has got quite a lot more ammo this week than he did last week. I'm quite looking forward to watching it ... in the same way that I quite enjoy watching that Brazil v Germany 2014 world cup semi.
Completely agree. The day to day drift and bungled communications were going completely unchallenged for weeks, costing many, many lives. The only thing the Tory hierarchy fear, is the tory media and their MP's turning against them. Starmer is starting to make this happen.

Also, the Mail and the Express readership are being directly affected by this. Do you know how badly their property price and share portfolio's have been hit? It's an absolute disaster! Someone has to carry the can for this.
I wonder if Boris feels about being PM, the same as many Albion fans do about being in the Premier League.

Plenty of international hubs have escaped the worst of this virus.
I think lack of preparation is a fair point. Being in government, is, or should be, dull. You have to attend meetings about things you're not interested in, that don't seem relevant at the moment. Build bridges with those you don't especially like, or agree with and drop your ideological...
Completely agree. A savvy fella like Stewart, would have realised that the Coronavirus can't be beaten with British optimism alone and dragged us into lockdown as soon as he realised that other countries were being hammered and there was no chance of it not happening here.
This would have...
Now the Prime Minister has been directly caught lying and is now doubling down on this, I wonder how the Telegraph, Express and Mail will treat this story on their front pages tomorrow?
Starmer's not the sort to have too many skeletons in the closet I don't think. What we can expect to see I think is more of what Tory central office did to him before the last election. Produce and post some (not so) skilfully edited videos of him, to make it seem like he is saying thing's...
