son noone likes palace!but this ones a good one so why not give him a bit of respect hes stood up for our club in the passed and doesnt deserve shit off you or any one else on here apart from for his team obviously. plus its a pretty fair comment what he posted to be honest
Gary Hobson was another top bloke. I remember him turning up for the leafleting thing in Hove during the YES/YES campaign, and being genuinely amiable and helpful. Ian Chapman is a decent guy, too, and still goes to games.
I saw his first game for Mansfield - he (and everyone else) looked a little short of Championship level. Well, quite a bit, actually, there's a big gap. However, if he goes to Swansea, the very best of luck to the Bear.
"When the ball's in the air, who's in there? It's the Bear - Richie Barker"
agree leon gets shit loads of flak he doesnt deserve off some people but all i was doing was replying to your asking if anyone would say anything if it was another player treated the same. and yes, they would.
its a difficult one to be unbiaised as i dont rate his writing anyway. but the crap he come out with in the programme was a real insite into how he obviouisly doesnt get the point about being brighton. i suppose it was printed to distance the club from the trouble at palace such as it was but...
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: McGhee outdone tactically two games in a row
take your point. hes maybe a bit old and slow for it now? but then with our squad theres not a whole lot of choice its true
why not.same thing whoever does it i didnt think leon did as well last night as he could of and he seemed to have taken a knock later on which seemed to slow him a bit. but glad to see he didnt want to be subbed.
Re: Re: Re: McGhee outdone tactically two games in a row
arent you the bloke as was moaning about playing defenders out of position. but your right about ckr who cant seem to hold the ball up to save his life which was mostly why we were overun in midfeild last night
amazing would people rather have an unsubstansiated rumour about a yes than anyhting like this. i enjoyed the stuff from otlw and hope its true too but seems stupid to pick holes in mr b for what hes just posted particularly since hes not promised anything that hasnt happened or suggested...
tasks expand to met deadlines is probably the truth of the matter, and as TD points out procedure is the god of civil servants. if theyve got till monday theyll probably take till then, or nearly then
in fact they pretty much have and noones nerves are any the better for it i dont suppose
