Huddlestone joins Wolves on loan

Tottenham have loaned midfielder Tom Huddlestone to Wolves for one month.
The 18-year-old, who can also play at centre-back, has not featured in the Spurs first team since arriving from Derby for £2.5m in the summer.

"He is a very good young player. He needs to be out on loan because he is not getting any football at Tottenham," said Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle.

Meanwhile, Wolves' leading scorer Carl Cort will have an exploratory operation after sustaining a knee injury.

The 27-year-old former Newcastle striker has suffered swelling around the joint and will undergo keyhole surgery in a bid to ascertain the extent of the problem.

Huddlestone is class, they can play him at the back or central midfield. Would rather have him at the back given the way our central midfielders are playing at the moment

Used to have a season ticket a few years ago and alternated Spurs and Albion games. (I should add that I was born in Islington and live about 4 miles from WHL). Still like to see them do well, although obviously not at the expense of us.
