Well that’s only the foundation guernsey, and the traditional Tassie one that the state has usually played in over the years. Hopefully it will be a bit more exciting when we finally join the league in 2028, provided they build the stadium first.
My little veggie patch is going nicely this year. Picking cucumbers, tomatoes, beetroot, carrots, climbing and bush beans. Also had good rhubarb, plums, blackberries, just waiting for the kiwis and corn.
That looks like Mount Roland?
I might be biased, but I think that I am in a pretty unique place to take pictures of some awesome scenery. Just a few nice pics from around different parts of the state.
Sometimes I think it is hard to take a bad shot over here. Have lots more that I could post.
All the people from the big city! Don't get to Hobart too often, at least it has a shopping centre (sort of) Its a great place to bring up your kids. Just needs more to keep them here when they have grown up.
Great to see somebody else down in my part of the world. Managed to get back up there last week for a few days. Did the Twisted Lakes walk this time which gives you some great alternative views of the mountain, rather than just the view from around Dove Lake. Was a bit of a slog to the top of...
Working through Bodies at the moment. Have just finished watching 'Dark'. A German show (3 seasons) that also has a time travelling element to it. Really need to be on the ballm watching it to follow it through and working out who is who, but overalll was a good watch.
Thanks, we were very lucky with the weather as it usually rains about 25 days a month there during winter. Only problem was that the shuttle bus couldn't get in til late as the roads were icy. That meant we couldn't do the walk we wanted as we didn't have enough time. That would have taken us to...

Louise grew up in East Grinstead, went to St Peter’s Primary School and then Imberhorne Comp - the other school in town, not the far superior Sackville!
And my Grandad went down there and rang the bells to celebrate my birth when he got the news of my arrival. Used to be a certificate there mentioning this fact. So if you were in Twineham and woken up in the middle of the night on March 24th 1975 by the church bells, that's my fault!
Hopefully shouldn't be rain affected, although weather down here for Saturday is rubbish. Tas jr had a great day out there on Monday as one of the kids who walked onto the pitch with the players. Very impressed to be paired up with Nicholas Pooran for the WI v Scot game.
Still the only Tasmanian to play league football in England. Now working at Western United and had a good chat with him about all things Albion when they played a couple of games down here over the last couple of A-league seasons
Thank goodness for TMS. Stuck in isolation for another 5 days, but have got TMS on youtube, Wimbledon on the TV and TdF starts tonight. Might be a few late nights before I have to go back to work for two days before the next school holidays start.
Great to have the Dave Clarkson double today!
Saw the great man today as his Western Utd team won 6-0 in Tassie today, then came home to watch us beat Spurs .
Kept my boss happy too as he is an Arsenal fan and made up for us beating them last week.
