[Albion] 15 Points still up for grabs

At best. No need to go all Chaileybot on me. :lolol: It was about 70% five games ago, when our chance of a *trophy* was 30%!

[Albion] 15 Points still up for grabs

True, but our chances of finishing 8th are about 30% at best and we're badly out of form. Don't put your mortgage on us beating West Ham, despite them being utter shite.

[Albion] The Ticket Exchange - what's the point?

Yes, in a scenario where there is nothing on the line and the game won't sell out, this Albion+ membership/exchange for free idea is indeed absolutely ludicrous. The process is in need of further refinement.

[Albion] Do you think Uncle Tony is happy?

On balance, this is how I feel. I'm getting quite cynical as I get older and as such am not convinced FH is any more or less talented than Potter or De Zerbi before him. But he does feel like a middle path between the previous two and in terms of planning that might be just what we need...

[Misc] Pope Francis RIP - New Pope Elected 08/05

This is of course the fault of my step dad. Yesterday he came rushing in to announce "Pope's gone". We all thought he was referring to the Surrey batsman in the Sussex game, but in hindsight it was clearly a premonition.

    [Football] Which team…

Lovely stuff. Welcome back @Trigger. For me the answer is Liverpool. And that is of course because they won absolutely everything when I was growing up. Or because my dad supported them so I had no choice. Or because I've always supported them actually. I can't remember anymore.

[Albion] What are your expectations as a football club ?

This. If Wigan and Wimbledon can do it, so can we.

[Albion] Fabian Hurzeler: IN or OUT

I'm ambivalent. I've long since arrived at the conclusion that our recent managers have all been competent but not earth shattering. Hurzeler is no different. He's had moments where he's been pretty good (Spurs and Man City at home) and others where he's not really changed the game in our...

[Albion] The Battle for 8th, and whether it means Europe or not

I flicked between the two games last night and from what I saw of Gross, he was the best player on the pitch. He really was peak Albion Gross.

[Albion] Do you think Uncle Tony is happy?

This is 100% true IMO. I honestly think we could pick a fair number of competent non-dinosaur managers prepared to work within our framework and we'd see similar levels of success and failure. That explains why I'm quite ambivalent to the measurement of success of Potter, De Zerbi and now...

    [Football] Mbappe

I don't know about overrated but for me he is incredibly inconsistent. His hattrick against Man City was sublime, but he seems to go complete games where he barely has a kick.
