We have a couple of breaks booked and are our normal arrangement is not now available. Does anyone have someone they could trust to have our labrador for a week in March? We have approached a few of the professionals locally but didn't get a good vibe from any. Worthing area.
Yesterday was the last ever run for this ride at the Magic Kindom in Disney World Florida before it is "re-imagined". A blow for those Disney lovers who love the nostalgic feel of it but I guess everything has to evolve. I pray Thunder Mountain doesn't go the same way.
Sad times.
Following on from our noble leaders hunt for the best onion rings, where is the best Cheese Ploughmans in Sussex?
This seems to be a dying offering with so many pubs either not offering a ploughmans or offering something that frankly is a poor imitation of the name.
Best in recent memory for...
I have never been a fan of his after his comments about the England football team, but I have to say he does now seem to be a decent guy who is grafting very hard to keep playing the sport he loves. Fair play to him.
Mrs Giraffe watched a few episodes of this and said it was so good that I had to watch it. So I did, and we are now ploughing through the second of six series with an awful lot of episodes in each series.
The problem is it's a bit depressing. There are uplifting moments and a few laughs but...

On 1 October, the annual energy bill for a typical household will rise from £1,971 to £2,500 - a 27% increase.
Submitting accurate meter readings means providers won't accidentally charge you at the higher rate for your earlier energy use.
Johnny Cantor, Brighton commentator for BBC Radio Sussex, from BBC live feed.
It is an interesting dynamic at Brighton and Hove Albion, as ordinarily when a coach departs, it follows a poor run or a major fall-out and a new manager would take over a struggling team.
But if Graham Potter...
Yes another thread on this, but a different take.
The Club is a success because of Bloom, not Potter.
Potter is the icing on the cake, or maybe the cherry, but 80% of our success is down to the strength of the club ownership and directorship. I have faith they'll make the right decision to...
