Genuine question.
If Baleba and Mitoma were convinced to stay (and not simply tied to their contracts), and JP is adequately replaced, could we actually challenge for the title?
I am aware that might sound hilarious to some (especially visiting supporters) but when you look at that squad...
The only reason no-one will offer 30m for him this summer is that they'd be laughed out of the building by every single one of the people who make our footballing decisions.
He's easily worth that to this club.
I would be astonished if anyone offered that sort of money. I'd sell for £25m tbh.
Obviously he has the spectacular in his locker, but he doesn't look after the ball well enough for me. Then there's the apparent fact that he's a bit of a nob...
I fully expect the promoted teams to all finish in the bottom 5,.maybe the bottom 3. The only teams already here who might be troubling the bottom 5 are Man Utd (who are a complete mess), West Ham (if they get their recruitment all wrong) and Wolves (who just did a good impression of a standard...
I don't think that's fair.
They had a mini rivalry with Portsmouth over their time in the.rhird division a couple of years ago, and they were entertaining certain Pompey pricks on their RTG site who were insisting Portsmouth were a bigger club. Yes, those bell end with about 10 post war top...
So trophies for Undav, Bissouma, Burn, Ali Mac and Gilmour this season then.
Caicedo, Sanchez and Cucurella have a good chance to follow. I'll let you know tomorrow whether or not I want that to happen!
But if it does, that just leaves stroppy Leando sickboy Trossard without a trophy...
So Sunderland or Sheffield Utd today then. I think we're all Sunderland aren't we? Maybe not, but whilst Sheffield United are the better half of Sheffield obviously, their presence in the Premier League would be dull, whereas I think we'd take a fair few to Sunlun.
Anyway, some big crowds...
He was clearly never as crap as people generally said. Even towards the end of his time in Manchester he was looking a far better player than he had for most of his time there. I reckon he's shed a couple of pounds too, and obviously looks like an excellent player now he's playing in his...
What are you talking about? The football fan community has simply collectively enjoyed laughing at a final between the two shittest non-relegated clubs in the Premier League. It's really that simple. Now please dry your eyes as you're embarrassing yourself.
So this year, WBG has won the scudetto, Ali Mac has won the Prem and Bissouma has won the Europa league.
Just as long as Cucurella, Sanchez and Trossard never win anything, I'm happy.
And you don't seriously believe that trophies don't mean anything to anyone and that league position is all that matters. It's not our fault that you're acting like a complete drip because all those people on the nasty internet keep telling you that Spurs are shit
The bottom line...
This is my fault. Half an hour ago, I messaged my mate - a Southampton and Hants fan - to say I appreciate he didn't want to talk football, so how about we talk cricket instead.
Expect us to be bundled out for about 83.
Well yes but I really like the backstories. For me, they are what makes this different from other travel shows. I mean I like travel shows, but the 2 sisters talking about their superficial relationship, the brothers trying to flourish after a horror childhood, the naive Welsh kids who haven't...
This is nonsense IMO (although one day I don't doubt it will happen). Obviously losing those two would make us weaker, but we've got far too many good players to see us genuinely struggle. We'd still have.a far stronger squad than Man Utd or West Ham.
I think we can all just enjoy Man Utd...
Scrappy scuffage,, keeper was rubbish again. Absolutely in keeping with the game. And the good news is that Tottingham Hotsbridge are the ones who got it.
