As @Nobby Cybergoat says, their potential is significant. They are talking about upgrading to 23,000 (not 30,000) and even in the Championship it's not difficult to see them averaging 17-18k, maybe more - they're probably not that different from Reading actually.
I don't like Bournemouth much (like most Brighton fans I'm sure) but I do like this guy's vlogs. Anyway apparently a couple of days ago, Bournemouth bought their ground back, so are now in a position to redevelop it.
I think the plan is to extend to 23,000 in the next few years, so we might...
Can we save this sort of justifiable self-righteousness until after WE have won a trophy? I will tolerate them winning something only AFTER we've done it.
I agree with this, except to say that there are situations where Hinsh is required as cover elsewhere on the pitch, and he's not so much better in midfield than Ayari that Ayari wouldn't slot into midfield where Hinsh plays as cover.
All this talk of high numbers of points though - realistically is that going to happen? Against West Ham we lost control of the game for a good half hour in the second half, just as we did at home to an even more mediocre Southampton side.
The only team we play who are going to be that shite...
Probably best not to get too caught up in the run-in.
You just know if we get 8th, the Nigels will win the cup and STEAL our European place.
On the other hand, as @Wozza pointed out to me yesterday, it could be absolutely delicious if Palace turn up at the cup final knowing that defeat not...
A likeable player who bustled and was neat and tidy, but didn't really do anything. He'd be for us what he is to Napoli - a bit part occasional sub who doesn't assist or score.
It's better than that. He literally ran the World Cup FINAL for an hour, whilst being paid as a Brighton and Hove Albion player.
Palace will never sing anything like that
Correct. I was sat no more than ten metres from them in the south, and this is right. They had a couple of chavvy gobby dorks as expected in their support, but they were ok overall
One chant is being overlooked here though. They sang "your support is f***ing shit". I mean really. a) It's...
Yes and no. In fact, no - they can do one. They scabbed their way to Wembley thanks to three penalty shoot outs. They've been as lucky as Palace, and when it comes to luck, Palace set a pretty high bar.
I absolutely LOVE the fact that Spuzz are laughably shit. Is there any chance that Lou Carpenter fella can stay in charge there? Ideally they spaff a fortune on a couple of massively overrated crap players in the summer.
I'm trying to think who I'd like them to waste their money on. £80m on...
I'm just thankful they're making these mistakes now, as opposed to being absolutely clinical against City and saving these f#ck ups for the final with Palace.
