Moscow closed its airports earlier today due to drone attacks. Surely worrying and embarrassing for Putin in the lead up to his weekend party. Worrying too for ordinary Muscovites who increasingly see signs of the war being brought to them.
Yes, from what I can make out Romania banned the extreme right candidate and his place has been taken by Simion who is only far right. Unfortunately, whilst he doesn’t seem to support Russia, he doesn’t agree with sending arms to Ukraine. Sounds like another Orban

Good response from Ukraine. Why should they dance to Russia’s tune? If Russia is serious about a ceasefire why not do it now? Or is it that Putin doesn’t want anything embarrassing to happen during his parade in front of his C list political celebs? Let Putin sweat and don’t agree to his...
You’re right. But although his talk is cheap it’s still good to hear him say (what millions have been saying for a long time) that he might be being played by Putin
A couple of days ago a Russian newspaper said Russia won’t accept a deal until they’ve taken back all territory that Ukraine occupies - they don’t want Ukraine to have any bargaining chips, or cards as Trump calls them.
Has anyone seen an update on what’s happening in Kursk?
