Definitely the time / age to do it. You'll open up a huge amount more serendipity taking this route than staying in the corporate world. Who knows quite what will come of it, but good for you for making that choice now and you may even look back in ten years and wish you had done it earlier...
I’m happy heading home from LGW - yes wonky at times but I felt there was some all team passion evident. The subs worked. All our goals were good. And two of them stunning. Home by 11pm hopefully. All good, apart from the unmentionable of course.
Nice optimistic post thank you. Doing my usual thing of drifting aimlessly between cafes to kill time after early arrival- just my luck that I’ve picked a table next to West Ham fans. They’ve promised to bore us off the park. Always good to listen to other fans being pessimistic tbh.
Departing ABZ at 0605 tomorrow for this so have gone for 3-1 to us. Has to be worth the early start and white-knuckle queue for the train to the airport afterwards doesn't it? Won't everyone be in the Terrace watching Palace go out leaving me an easy run? Please......
Sorry, slow to catch up on the discussion and would echo thanks for posting this example. Another aspect to add is that if the earner in your comparison shielded some of their investment income (such as property rents) via a limited company they would probably be able to offset other costs...
I think the club should make this happen for home fans at the Newcastle home game now and publicise accordingly - and just leave Liverpool to it after the match on 19th.
You missed nothing. We went up there - ordered drinks on the screen - staff behind bar seemed very confused - soon as we got drinks went back downstairs anyway as too crowded, very few seats. Upstairs is a complete waste of time.
Will be at the Amex today watching match together with my three far flung kids (now adults) - first time with the four of us watching Albion together since Goldstone. Pretty special - and result required to match please.....
I think this is the direction to go in but the wedges can be tricky, glue blocks less so. Wedges can dry out at different rate to treads etc and shrink leading to creaking and at this age obviously very dry and shrunken (yes I know, inviting some NSC wit). @The Clamp hard drying resin around the...
Thought this was interesting (already in the Brighton in the News thread) and apols if discussed elsewhere

Includes the comment:
"On Saturday, Brighton were 2-1 down against Crystal Palace and chasing an equaliser. It all got a bit...
Some of us have to have efficient ways of getting too and fro Scotland for matches - it's chauffeur drive all the way home actually, no messing about with airports.......
Would I Lie To You?
I also think that JPvH made nothing like the effort (or danger recognition) immediately after the corner proved to be another useless effort - compared to the moment Dunk saw danger and made his sprint back - considering the risks of having your tall defenders forward for a corner. Probably why...
Google's AI overview of Sodexo. There should be no place for these cowboys at the Amex:
Sodexo, a food services and facilities management company, has faced criticism regarding the quality of its catering, with some users reporting issues such as inedible food, raw ingredients, and poor...
Yes agree, and often don't even have them at all. It shows the general level of incompetence as they are one of the easiest non-meat options to prepare and hot-hold. Given the extremely poor level of non-meat options it's a shame they can't even get this simple thing right.
After a hol break from 16-8 with regular (a few beers) drinking for two weeks 4lbs added from nowhere. Alcohol is the worst as others above have reminded. Been trying 20-4 for the past couple of weeks and seems better than 16-8 because I found the 8 gave too much time to cram in food without...
