Not where I want
Glue blocks or riser/ tread wedges need re gluing ?
I think this is the direction to go in but the wedges can be tricky, glue blocks less so. Wedges can dry out at different rate to treads etc and shrink leading to creaking and at this age obviously very dry and shrunken (yes I know, inviting some NSC wit). @The Clamp hard drying resin around the wedges might be a possibility but would need good adherance to the stair strings etc. Good luck.

I've always thought creaky stairs are a good thing. Great alarm for when the baddies come visiting when you're fast asleep.

Indeed I've always thought that. You also have a clue that one of the kids is coming down.

And even if the " baddies " negotiate the stairs I'm furthest from the bedroom door. Sorry Mrs Metal! :)
