The club are going to be taking a bit of a financial hit on the real ale. Lower sales and extra time it takes to pour and serve. I heard they hope to recoup the cost via this £38 ticket price.
Priority should be allocated to those who support the club the most. But how do you measure this? Someone who signs up for 5 years and pays a lot of money into the club for this period is surely supporting the club as much, if not more, than anyone else.
Not strictly true actually, as I also went to Orient a few years back and Brentford. I used to go back in the day but circumstances and priorities change and Ive only made some of the bigger games over the past few years.
Maybe these folk are like me? I'm a new fan who wants to be part of this new Albion adventure. I say new, I did go to the Spurs, West Ham and Villa cup games but you get my drift. If the club want to fill 22500 seats they need to attract new faces like me....which they seem to be doing.
Hello. I'm still mulling over whether to join the 1901 Club. Apparently 1901-ers get priority for all away and cup games.
I'm worried that if I do not join the 1901 club, given there will be approx 2600 members ahead of me, I might be locked out of plum away fixtures and cup ties. Was this a...
I heard that the North Stand supporters bar will now become the bar/buffet/hospitality area for the new premium seats in the East Stand. Can you confirm this?
My mate is in the 1901 Club and he told me about them. Apart from the big cup ties over the past few years, I've not been to see the Albion...so yes I am a newbie. But I'm tempted to get one of these new seats and start going again.
Tony Bloom is thinking BIG, hence scrapping the supporters bar and converting it into a corp hospitality lounge. It stands to reason that a corp guest's spend will be a lot more than a regular supporter. Half of them probably wont even bother with the football and will just spend their time...
But corporate season ticket holders are still fans are they not? So, either way this area is for supporters.....it just happens that it will now be wealthy ones.
I'm sure he does. He has been instrumental in fighting for real ale to be served in what now turns out to be a new 1901 hospitality suite.... has he not?
Another 400 seats to go on sale in the East Stand apparently. I heard that the area set aside for a cafe/supporter's bar is to be kitted out for the hospitality. Does anyone know where this is though?
