Without Champions League football, I just don't believe that their finances are that healthy. They have a big squad currently, it may well be that they have to sell before they buy which would give us the advantage.

But two new centre backs this summer would indicate that at least two from Cashin, Igor and Webster might depart (on loan or permanent). The later would only be jettisoned for fitness reasons one would imagine but not having a settled back line is the primary reason for us missing out on Europe in my opinion. Webster's form and leadership has been outstanding but his niggling injuries are so frustrating. Our defence was generally poor this season as it seemed to change from match to match. We conceded the most goals in the top 13, 15 more than Everton!
No-one thinking that it could be JPVH on the way out? There were rumours that Liverpool were looking at him and Newcastle are definitely in for a CB, because they're eyeing up Guehi. Van Hecke must be an attractive option for many clubs

If you believed all the rumours so far Mitoma, Pervis, JPVH, Pedro and Bart are all out the door never going to happen is it?

The difference is that the Albion have already bought one CB and are scouting another. They're not in the market for a no 10 or a goalie. They did sign Watson, so could be expecting a winger to leave, although that could be Adingra

Getting his first cap for Italy today.
Tough debut away to Norway. Italy lost 3-0 and he had to mark Haaland. Got a player rating of 5/10.

Lots of praise on the socials from Italy fans though, quite a few comments singling him out as Italy’s best (or least terrible) player of the match.

I Would frigging hope not, but if they all get itchy feet and want to go we do have a stated policy of not standing in players way if the terms are agreeable.

He would have to mark Haaland at least twice a season if he joined.
This is exactly right. Plus Watkins, Isak etc etc other weeks.

I'm not saying this fella wouldn't be a good signing, but 21 is very young for a centre back. I doubt he would be going straight in the side if we did buy him and would likely be loaned

Seen another source suggesting Como and Bournemouth are interested.
