In terms of the pelters and FH, I changed my opinion post Brentford, because the set-up and goals were so poor, and FH just doesn’t seem to be evolving/learning.
So for me, the damage is already done, pelters at the ready.
That said, if we don’t do anything stupid, (high line against faster players, being the primary one), I’ll probably just go with the flow.
To actually answer the question, if we hold European ambition I’d suggest 3, because we should beat Wolves (6 wins or not).

This is possibly true and sadly, leading football clubs do have more of such fans (I would have hoped ours would know a bit better, but there you go) but as you say they are a reality. If we are going to be a top 6 team we are going to need a decent mix of types of goals. Discounting any of them is crazy.
Maybe 'they' should introduce some sort of handicap system, where worldies only count for 0.5 of a goal and tap-ins the full 1?

Nonsense. If a player is playing at a high end EPL standard why would he be overtaken by others? If he is then we will be consistently a top 4 team. Hinshelwood is performing at borderline England call up levels, this season and last. His age is irrelevant.
He’s still very young and progress is rarely linear for young players. RDZ did have his full backs arriving late and being a goal threat but JH hasn’t been asked to do that this season so purely looking at his attacking stats doesn’t show a picture of his progression anyway. The fact he is starting more PL games than his contemporaries shows he’s still making a lot of progress under this manager as well as the last.

I think for most it is a case of venting after a disappointing result or performance. I wonder how many will still be calling for his head in the summer, especially once it becomes obvious he is staying and even more so if we start to make a few decent signings (not wingers and attacking mids).
I'll be honest I am not expecting much from the last few games but I am optimistic about next season. With some decent signings I think we'll see more of the good stuff and less of the bad.
FH will be more experienced by next season
