Must be hard having had upper hand on us for over 30 years to suddenly see our longer-term approach succeed so emphatically, all while relying on a 200K-per-week 30 year old to keep them above the 40 point threshold for another couple of seasons.

Yes actually, in 1971. One of the first English teams to win at the San Siro.

But congratulations to Brighton on a much greater achievement. I would like to wish everyone who stuck with it from 1996 to 2011 the time of their lives next year.

I guess the dream is that they move towards a different approach, and start planning for the future.
