Listened last night. Sorry If you've already mentioned on here, but with a slightly less professional (and neutral) hat on, is all this nuts or does it actually make a lot of sense? If the main risk is that a player is a dud, and can't be moved on, is that really likely to be that much of an issue? Feels to me that the furore around it is more because its actually a very clever way to fix the FFP system. Someone last night said 'you can only do it if you're mega rich, Norwich wouldn't'. So is that just the crux of it? They can afford the risk and they've fiddled the system.

Sorry, but I was so gutted he left that I feel he needed to be taught a 'career lesson'. You don't drop your solid project to go after a moonshot because someone dangles a bag of cash at you...

Didn't Moyes get a similar length contract at Manchester United? In fact, I think they might still be paying him now
Moyes had a clause in his contract which meant that if they failed to qualify for the Champions League in the first year in which he was in charge they could sack him and only pay up 12 months salary. They lost a match on a Sunday which meant they would not be in the top four and sacked him within 24 hours.

That video is years old and what does it have to do with Brexit?
Don’t know. Don’t care! …and congratulations. You spend more time watching daft videos on the internet than me. I personally have never seen it before, despite watching more than enough myself.

But… you posted… it? Are you okay?
I’m all good thanks. How about you?

I simply have no desire to get drawn into a Brexit discussion. It’s no more complicated than that.

It’s a mildly amusing video. (That it would seem just so happened to be posted by a Brexit channel.) No more, no less.

Colwill had to assess where he's most likely to get game time. Here he's playing and playing well.

Chelsea offered Lamptey a new deal.....
He seemed happy enough to be at Stamford Bridge in the directors box with Boehly & co, and allegedly met up with Potter after as well. Be great if he doesn’t but I suspect Chelsea have big plans for him

I hope he told him how brilliant it was at Brighton now

Yes and was probably told he’ll get a fat new £100k a week contract from Chelsea soon
