They lost a match on a Sunday which meant they would not be in the top four and sacked him within 24 hours.Didn't Moyes get a similar length contract at Manchester United? Colwill had to assess where he's most likely to get game time. Here he's playing and playing well.
Chelsea offered Lamptey a new deal.....
He seemed happy enough to be at Stamford Bridge in the directors box with Boehly & co, and allegedly met up with Potter after as well. Be great if he doesn’t but I suspect Chelsea have big plans for him
