Good article. One things for sure, there's going to be a hell of a lot of interest in him after the way he performed on the global stage.

I think you’re right, a lot are just relieved that Ashley has gone. And obviously a load celebrating outside the ground were just kids jumping on the bandwagon, most of them will not have a clue about who’s actually taking them over!

Surprised to hear it, but you just need a few kids joining in because they think everyone’s doing it and it suddenly sounds quite loud. Like others have said, he did great for us and we got a more than decent amount for the lad, so not sure what their issue was. But I suppose that’s football.

I think you’re right that in global terms they’re probably insignificant at the moment but I’d still say they’re a huge club, the support is phenomenal and with a bit of the success and the right person owning them I think things would be a lot different. The media seem to absolutely love them...

I’m really surprised at Wenger to be honest. He’s an intelligent bloke. But no-one in their right mind can think this is a good idea. If it’s not broke then don’t fix it. The reason it’s special is because we have to wait 4 years for it, with the bonus of the Euros in between.

It'll be interesting to see if their return is delayed even further now. If the Brazilians force them to quarantine over there and they have to self-isolate back on their return then they're going to be out for weeks...
