The man is nothing but class, however why not celebrate with passion.

Take a look at his interview on the club website, he explains how he likes to keep a calm demeanour. Having a masters in emotional intelligence probably tells him that showing emotion is a sign of weakness.

Fans are there to do the celebrating, not the Manager. Once they lose control of their emotions, they’re only a cup final goal away from a dancing Pardew; I’m still disgusted by that mess of a man getting his groove on like he was in a Newcastle club trying it on with his players’ WAGs.

From where we were in the SW, I couldn't see the squabbling on the benches at FT, but I could see that, shortly afterwards, Guardiola made his way onto the pitch and made a point of going to each one of our players to shake their hand. I wouldn't judge anyone solely by how they react in the middle of a disappointment, without considering how they hold themselves when everything is over. Yes he can be niggly and obviously hates losing, but I'd have no illusion that this part of his make up is probably shared by all who succeed consistently in top level sport. Fantastic to put both him and Klopp this season into the position where the pat on the head for trying has to be replaced with grudging congratulations for the win.

AJ, non awarded penalty etc. It balances out. We certainly deserved a win tonight, if only for all the unfortunate times we've played well this year and got nowt. City were hardly robbed. Albion earned the points for that comeback.

Same here, too busy celebrating the win at the final whistle to notice anything going on between the benches, but as you say Pep did congratulate our players.
