Full league table prior to the end of the Villa v Spurs game.

The tracker thinks 35 will be enough to stay up, or actually 34, given our much superior goal difference. We will see.

Fulham v Newcastle on the final day of the season promises to be an absolute cracker. Worth noting the tracker assumes Fulham win that and Newcastle draw it. Those new to all of this will now be baffled :)

17 more points for Stains!

I'm thinking 4pts from the next 3..

I wouldn’t just bite your hand off, I’d be that quick I’d take a large chunk of your forearm too.

I'm wondering if your tracker thinks less than 34/35 will be enough, should the current difference be pro-rated up from the difference after 29 games to after 38 games?

So Newcastle on -7 after 29 will be -9 after 38 games, assuming the previous average form stays the same...

The table looks very comforting

17 more points for Stains!

This made me look at my numbers again and I had made an error and overcooked Southampton by 3 points. Revised below.

Southampton have an easy run in on paper hence the predicted high finish.

We could so easily be in the high 30s right now. That chart would look the business!

If United dont get their penalty after the full time whistle, if we dont let in that stupid Palace goal, if we score 1 of our West Brom penalties, & dont gift Leicester that late goal then we'd be on 36 points and basically safe now. Lots of fine margins.

The March foul clearly outside the box against Stains.

Ref/VAR falling for Kane's dangerous play at WHL.

So many more than that though.

Palace not getting their soft Penalty
Connolly/Ali J being able to finish simple opportunities against Sheff Utd.
Maupay being able to score a Penalty vs Liverpool.
VAR not overturning the penalty against Saints.

And many many more.
We need to get jammy wins in our last nine games for this season's luck to have evened itself out.

We seem to be picking up points in games where we aren't having so much possession and losing games when we have the lion's share.
Following that logic we could reach safety by losing to Newcastle and Sheffield U and picking up points to Wolves, West Ham, Arsenal and Everton.

The difference being when we're playing a tight defensive shape, we can counter attack and win.

When the opposition parks the bus, we're not so good at breaking them down?

Sorry for the delay but as there was no change I thought I would wait for the other fixtures to complete. Still one up. Full league table to follow.

For anyone still awake, we are now one behind, but I can't see Fulham getting to our current points total personally, so a comfortable drift towards the end of the season for us I think.

Wins against Sheffield, Leeds and Wolves and we'll be up to last year's total. No worries.
