Take a point now 1) to keep the unbeaten run going 2) Burnley will stay below us

But would prefer a win to move further clear.

No I wouldn't take a point. We've beaten Spurs without Kane, Liverpool without Mane so we can do the same to Burnley without Wood and Barnes.

It is a shame March and Lamptey are out because I feel sure our 3 CBs would have taken care of their attacking threat and the wing-backs would have been given licence to maraud forward.

I hope Potter is bold and gives Veltman and Burn licence to attack. I think Burnley will miss Brownhill in midfield - he is good at breaking up play.

You can never write Burnley off and they are capable of pulling off a 1-0 win against almost any team but I feel it won't be tomorrow, what with their injuries and our form.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wood, Barnes and Brownhill all in the squad, we have a far worse injury crisis than them.

I had a feeling we’d beat Spurs, thought we’d narrowly lose to Liverpool. I’ve got another good feeling about this one.

And in 2016. :) We had to equalise twice in the last minute that time, because the linesman wasn't watching the first time.

Indeed. The same linesman who also wasn't watching when 15 yards in front of his face, Joey Barton jumped 3 feet in the air, to stamp on Beram Kayal's knee.

There's about 20 comments on this thread suggesting that, full of confidence gained in beating Liverpool at Anfield, we should be able to brush aside lowly Burnley, who *checks notes* just beat Liverpool at Anfield...

I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with a draw.

It's Burnley. It's what we do.

Just seen we currently have 9 injured players. Propper is an odd one, hardly played but injured almost every time he does

Through injury we're missing 5 of the 11 players that started our win at Anfield 2 weeks ago. So I respectfully disagree there.

We didn't let him go. He was a West Brom player on loan to us.
Apart from that, I agree with you.

I was under the misapprehension that we'd loaned him from Birmingham rather than WBA. My mind's playing tricks on me because Birmingham had him on loan the following year. I've just realised that it would have been Chris Hughton who took him there and gave him his chance in the Championship. He was a pretty good manager that Hughton bloke you know.

Who are those five Matt?
For me Ben Mee and Tarkowski are an excellent CB pairing and I think Pope is the best English keeper around. Better than Pickford in my opinion. The amount of shots he saves is unbelievable. Two great stops against City the other night.
