In in in. Playing great. We’ll beat Spurs and Liverpool (obligatory loss v Burnley and their unique brand of non-football)

I'm not convinced by either like you, however they get into goalscoring positions surely practice, practice and more practice is the answer. We clearly have to make the most of what we've got they just need to sharpen up.

With forward players they either have that calmness under pressure or they don't. It can't be taught. Its either there or not.

And what's Barber? An employee on 2m a year. As a supporter I think we do have a voice. Lets face it Potter had it easy ONE win at home in over a year, the Amex would be toxic. He is very lucky.

Because the results would have been the same in a full stadium? Not sure you could say that as its impossible to know

Who do you want me to name that couldn't improve on that home record......Howe...Lampard...Benitez..... Style would change, results would improve.

Captain smug who relegated a decent side. Lampard who pissed the Russians money up the wall or Benitez?

I’ll pick Benitez, I’m sure he’ll be within the budget

Out.

Oh sure, the players weren't good enough. Well who's job is it to coach them, or does Graham simply rock up two hours before kick off for a catch up, then swan off and not see them again until the next game? And who decided not to make any substitutions until the 83rd minute, and no attacking substitutions whatsoever? Did "the players" decide Alexis MacAllister, who has been our most potent set-piece taker in recent weeks, shouldn't be allowed near a single one?

This man is seriously out of his depth. And he's dragging us down with him.

You shouldn't have to coach a Premier League striker to score from 3 to 12 yards out. Fascinating that you think Potter is to blame for that and not the players.

Within the budget :lolol: we have no budget anymore we lost 67m last season we will lose 100m+ this season and to sack Potter would cost even more money

We haven’t won at home in the league and that is unacceptable and would be being felt more so if the fans were in attendance.

One of the bottom 3 will pick up and if we can’t win at home and continue our current form we will be in the bottom 3, this isn’t progress.

The passing football and the odd win keeps people hoping but the trend is going one way and the manager sounds like a broken record.

Fence; where I have been for a while. I came in to the season very pro Potter because of the brand of football. Moved towards out as it became apparent this style just couldn’t deliver enough good results. After the loss announcement from earlier I think we just stick with what we have and take whatever comes but with no real enthusiasm.

It’s really odd how so many of these Potter out guys have a thing for Eddie Howe.

They want to replace the guy who kept his team up. With the guy who took his club down?

You list some good managers but they’d still have to work with our goal-shy strikers.
Our forward are all technically deficient.
How would a change of style improve them?

The coaching is not just about the finishing, it's the whole package. That includes man management. We have a forward line (and, for that matter, an entire squad) which looks utterly and completely devoid of confidence in their ability. As the manager, he is responsible for the playing side which includes that side of the game, building confidence in players off the pitch. Think about your place of work (or any "ordinary" place of work), if someone on a team is struggling would a good line manager be expected to help that individual improve and build their confidence, or would you expect them to do nothing about it and let that individual continue to flounder?

He is getting a free pass. Backed by the board and no fans to react to a string of disappointing results, he is getting away with it. Imagine the fans reacting to his passivity tonight. Three strikers on the bench and those on the field not performing. Our performances are so predictable. No attempt to change anything tonight. At least try and introduce some variety. Without Lamptey, Lallana and Welbeck we are a rudderless ship. Teams around us are getting shock wins at big clubs and we limp forward, regarding a home point against Fulham as a really, really good performance. Well you can fool some of the people some of the time.

You know full well that he had an impossible injury issue that season.

He kept his team in the premier league three more years than Potter.
