I reckon Bungle is delighted with the permanently-angry pissing their pants about his little bike ride. Completely deflected attention and debate from the important stuff he’s got wrong.

It’s such a non story and defendable, hence he is happy to keep it on the front pages alongside news that we are leading Europe in the jabs rollout

I wonder if Johnson erodes employment law further, will people be okay with being unfairly dismissed because the law hasn’t been broken?
Johnson deliberately makes fuzzy laws so he can do whatever he jolly well likes.

Anyone who believes otherwise is kidding themselves. I think there’s a few on here that won’t allow themselves to believe we are being lead by cynical, self serving ********s who don’t have a clue how to handle Covid restrictions. Makes life a bit easier to bear I suppose, but with that attitude, we all lose. That’s how kakocratic governments like this one get voted in time and again.
It’s fear. And it works.

All those millions who voted him in -not one has your superior intellect and insight, of course.

Not so much that, I’ts beyond doubt many who voted Tory are very clever indeed. They know exactly what type of government will look after their interests and wealth. And why wouldn’t you vote in your best interests? It’s the millions of less wealthy people who voted Tory believing it was in their best interests but are clearly getting screwed by this government. I have little sympathy though, they should have done their due diligence.

It’s more to do with lack of moral fibre than lack of intelligence. Although that clearly played a part with a lot of people.

I hope that clears that up for you?

I genuinely try to think of the country as a whole when I vote?

Can’t believe Tesco (Church Road) is reported as being very quiet since insisting on masks

All kicked off in Tesco Lewes yesterday lunch time, woman screaming at security without a mask and police were called, right around the same time in walks the local crackpot, again not wearing a mask, local residents will know her as the woman who wears a giant cross of St George flag, a helmet and has loads of cardboard signs attached to her, and ..... she usually has a toy sword attached to her waist. She is often found in the precinct on summers days berating anybody who takes a photo of her.

I guess that woman is keen on her freedom not to wear a mask but doesn’t give a damn about our freedom not to catch Covid from her and end up on a ventilator in ICU. I would ask the police to isolate her for 2 weeks in a cell.

Beach Green was the place to go again today it seems. Buzzing at The Perch, playground and skate park doing a brisk trade. All vital, vital activities that cannot be forsaken to save lives.

I cycled past there around 09:45 this morning and it was pretty quiet, however, on the way back around 11:00 there were a lot of people around, seems to be turning into a social club.

They know full well it’s never policed. They need to shut the car park and at least get rid of the non-locals.
