It's almost like this was a terrible idea, isn't it?

No trade deal with the EU and no trade deal with the US if Parliament pass Johnson's law breaking Bill.

Johnson needs to go.

Don't worry we've sent Dominic "I didn't realise the importance of the Dover-Calais crossing" Raab over the pond. Everything will be fine...

So is Ppf the last Brexiter standing on NSC? They've all run away....

Some fascinating replies from people in French, depressing how far we've fallen so fast and how we are now viewed from outside.

I hope people from afar just remember the narrow English cult running the show does not represent us as a nation

A couple of hours of extra security checks at Dover this afternoon, Operation Stack instigated and Kent grinding to a halt.

What could possibly go wrong :lolol:

No Deal Brexit has now become No Deals Brexit unless Johnson's law breaking Act is ditched.
Surely something will turn up? We just have to believe more surely?

Looks like the bill has been kicked into the long grass, what a pointless and counterproductive exercise that was at a critical point in negotiations

We'll opted for self harm, the deal will get will be shit but we need one or we're finished. Tories need to get a grip

Not so sure about that, the Government climbdown is the most pathetic you can imagine (basically rather than the Govt being able to break international law with impunity forever they now have to ask for permission, at which point they can act with impunity forever). The bill hasn't been pulled nor can I see much evidence to suggest it's going to be, and many argue even passing it breaks international law in it's own right.

Great post. When counter terror police mount a serious operation in order to protect lives then let's turn it into a political wahoo. Well played Watford Gap. :O

I'll explain it in very simple terms.

A couple of hours of extra checks at Dover port (for whatever reason) means Kent grinding to a halt. Bodes well for the future.

You are Dominic Raab and I claim my £5 :lolol:

Who was that comedian in the 70s/80s, used to laugh at his own, largely unfunny, jokes?

Ken Goodwin, that's him. I bet you're just like him.
