Labour... Corbyn will take us straight back to the 1970's and knacker the country's finances - then get voted out and leave the ruins of a country whilst shrugging his shoulders.
Although I agree he'd do that with time, and a decent majority, could he do any of that with a just half the MPs?

If you want to stop Brexit, you need the Tories out. Labour provide a route to stop Brexit, they just don't want to talk about it, because it will upset their voters. The problem is, you could end up with Corbyn running our country, and most people can't take that risk.

If it weren't for the stupid Labour members, Labour would have a better leader and we'd get rid of this shit Tory government and end Brexit.

My God.

Have the Tories really made you become so utterly faithless in politics that you actually believe this?
I'm very anti our current government and its leadership, but you can't blame them for what everyone thinks of Corbyn. I haven't been mislead by a smear campaign in the papers, I just listen to what Corbyn says and it fills me with horror. The man is unelectable.

I'm no fan of his but would vote Labour if I didn't vote Green but what exactly fills you with horror? I ask this very non-combatively.

Agreed, and I am not a Boris fan, but Corbyn is even more unelectable in my opinion.

Brighton factually.....
Anyone voting for the Brexit party is a fool, they are a dead rubber, if you actually want Brexit, surely only the Tory party can deliver this for you if that is your point of view.
Unfortunately labour dithering with a firm Brexit policy means they are not a safe bet for pro Brexit or anti brexit voters, frankly I do not know what they stand for.
Every other option including our very own Green Party is on a national level a wasted voted.

It is a usual feckfest of a mess....

With no real alternatives other than the same old same old horrible parties, and contempt for the voters and general public.

The Conservatives, after being in power for nine years, have chosen as their election slogan - "Britain deserves better"

What the hell are they thinking? That's a gift to opposition parties - that's a slogan for advocating change

(and note the reminder that their Brexit policy is that they're looking to throw Northern Ireland under a bus)

Fills you with horror. HORROR!

Please can you give some examples where have you listened to what Corbyn has said and not been misled by a smear campaign in the papers? There must be some striking examples for it to 'fill you with horror'.

I've done the same to this poll as what I'll do at the Election, not vote.
I've tried numerous times in the past to listen to what each candidate has to say and frankly I don't understand any of it. The best I can muster is an abstention

The beautiful thing about this election is the muppets who will vote Brexit Party as they did in the European elections, taking crucial votes from both Labour and Tories, leaving the Lib Dems to clean up.

Absolutely perfect for us to set right the sinking ship of the UK.

You could look at it another way.

Labour are the only party still offering voters a Brexit choice. All the other parties have staked their flag in either remain or exit, with no further discussion.

Labour on the other hand are saying to voters, we will negotiate a new softer Brexit deal, retaining rights and customs etc. BUT we will put that deal and remain back to the people. Given we haven't been able to leave the EU for coming up to 4 years, another vote may actually be leaver's best chance of exiting the EU.

The leader at present who I think could most damage their Party's chances is Jo Swinson. She seems to think she can play the card of ignoring the referendum, pretend 2010 - 2015 didn't happen, and stand on a platform that the Lib Dems would never make a deal with either of the main parties...yeah right. If she was genuine about preventing Brexit, then accepting Labour might beat them in this coming election, and actually only Labour offer a chance of stopping Brexit with a People's Vote on the table, they are a natural partner if Parliament is hung.

Labour have a HUGE task in selling to the electorate that they still offer a Brexit choice to voters, that Leave and Remain alike stand a chance with their policy. They will need those Leave voters that cannot countenance voting Tory to see that as a genuine choice. Very tough sell.

Probably, yes - how, or from where, do people get their views about Corbyn, other than the endless propaganda and lies about him

Don't get me wrong, I actually don't think he's a very good leader, and I can't envisage him as an effective PM, but that's because I've watched and listened to him, because I'm an 'anorak' who's actually interested in politics and current affairs. .

Most people I know who slag him off, though, admit that they base their hatred of him on what they read in the Tory press; that's "he's a Commie who wants to turn Britain into Venuzuela, and take us back to the 1970s".

I actually look at his policies.

And he will do that.....

The swing of the white, male and stale vote could indeed will crucial.

LD's targets though are mostly Tory seats where One Nation voters have literally had enough, I know a fair few that take the view the current LD's offer is closer to their ideals than the increasingly nationalist Tories.

Unbelievable comments from Johnson.

He is openly lying to us. Absolute ****ing disgrace of a human being.

I'd be interested to hear serious responses from some of the 26% on here who say they currently intend voting Conservative & Unionist about how they can overlook the following:

- the EU referendum and its aftermath have brought unprecedent chaos and conflict, and de-stablised the UK
- thousands of our fellow citizens are sleeping rough on the streets
- the current PM has consistently been shown to lie and take poor strategic advice
- public services are pn their knees or barely coping, e.g. the Police, schools, NHS
